Publish Time: 2025-06-06     Origin: Site

To fill and seal chocolate paste in cups, you need a hygienic and accurate filling and sealing process using a specialized cup filling machine. Chocolate paste is viscous, so the filling system must be designed for semi-liquid or thick pastes like chocolate spread, or ganache.

Step-by-Step Process to Fill and Seal Chocolate Paste in Cups:

1. Cup Feeding

  • Cups (plastic, paper, or aluminum) are automatically dropped into the machine via a cup denester.

  • Cups are typically made of PP, PET, or laminated materials.

2. Chocolate Paste Filling

  • A servo-driven piston filler or heated hopper system is used to fill the chocolate paste into the cup.

  • If the chocolate paste is thick or requires heating:

    • Use a jacketed hopper with temperature control (around 40–60°C) to maintain flowability.

  • Filling volume can be customized (20g–500g or more per cup).

3. Lid Placement

You can choose from two options:

  • Pre-cut foil lids: Automatically placed on top of the filled cups.

  • Roll film: Automatically unwound, cut, and placed over cups.

4. Heat Sealing

  • A heat sealing station applies pressure and temperature to seal the cup with foil or film.

  • Common seal types:

    • Aluminum foil heat seal

    • PET/PE film seal

    • Optional: add easy-peel design for consumer convenience

5. Coding (Optional)

  • Use inkjet or thermal printer to apply production/expiry date and batch number.

6. Cup Discharge & Packing

  • Sealed cups are discharged onto a conveyor for:

    • Shrink-wrapping

    • Tray packing

    • Cartoning

Recommended Machine Type:

  • Rotary Cup Filling Sealing Machine for medium output

  • Inline Cup Filling Sealing Machine for higher output and multiple filling lanes

  • FFU (Fan Filter Unit) cover or clean room class 100,000 can be added for dairy-grade hygiene

Packaging Options:

  • Round or oval plastic cups (commonly 50–250 ml)

  • Compartment cups (e.g. chocolate + biscuit sticks)

  • Mini dessert pots with printed lids
